What We Believe
A summary of Christian doctrine whose authority rests only in its agreement with the Word of God.
The following condenses the full statement of faith held by Faith Baptist Church — what the Bible teaches and what Baptist folks have preached for a long, long time.
- Article 01
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction, having God for its Author and truth without any mixture of error for its matter — the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct and opinions should be tried.
- Article 02
The True God
We believe there is one, and only one, living and true God, an infinite and intelligent Spirit; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three Persons — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost — equal in every divine perfection.

The Way of Salvation
We believe salvation is wholly of grace through the Lord Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, made a full atonement for our sins by His death, and rose again — now enthroned in Heaven as our all-sufficient Saviour.

A Gospel Church and Its Ordinances
We believe a visible church is a congregation of baptized believers observing the ordinances of Christ. We believe Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer, and the Lord's Supper commemorates the dying love of Christ, preceded always by solemn self-examination.

Soulwinning
We believe the command to give the Gospel to the world is clear and unmistakable, and that this commission is the responsibility of all believers.

Creation
We believe that God created the universe in six literal, twenty-four hour periods, and we reject evolution and other unscriptural theories of origin.
- Article 07
Marriage and the Sanctity of Life
We believe marriage is between a man and a woman, and that human life begins at conception — the unborn child being a living human being made in God's image.

The World to Come
We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, and the everlasting blessedness of the saved.
